English: Tip Meadow This is actually a small landfill site. The rubble and rubbish from generations at Ashford Court and surrounding houses lie beneath the field, documented here as part of an attempt to preserve field names from the huge social upheavals now occurring in rural England.
The hay cannot be cut due to the incessant rains, and this picture was taken just above the high water mark of the July 21st floods on the River Teme. |
