Deutsch: Blick von der Lennéstraße in Richtung Südwesten. Das Gebäude stand nicht direkt an der Straße, sondern war einige Meter von der Straßenfront nach Westen zurückgesetzt. Es wurde errichtet durch den Verein Studentenwohl Bonn e. V. (1951 umbenannt in Studentenwerk Bonn e. V., ab 1974 AöR), am 25. Oktober 1924 eingeweiht und beherbergte u. a. einen Speisesaal (Mensa academica), möblierte (Mehrbett-) Zimmer für wohnungslose Studenten, ein Bücheramt, eine Darlehnskasse, eine Schreibstube, eine Druckerei und Buchbinderei sowie ab 1927 ein "Wohnungs- und Vergünstigungsamt". Initiator des Baus war Prof. Fritz Tillmann, 1919-1921 Rektor der Uni Bonn und ab 1923 Vorsitzender des Vereins Studentenwohl. Das genaue Aufnahmedatum ist unbekannt, stattdessen wurde in den Dateiattributen das Eröffnungsdatum angegeben. |
