Description
English: Tijuca ex Marion Josiah dismasted Buenos Aires WW1 lost to U151. The "Marion Josiah" (1892) owned by Messrs Rogers & Co, 204 Bath Street, Glasgow. Josiah Roger, was her owner, his vessels were named after his wife , Marion and it was she who gave the title `Marion Line', to the company. The other vessels of the line were the 'Marion Ballantyne', 'Marion Crosbie', 'Marion Frazer', 'Marion Inglis', and the 'Marion Lightbody'. Collection of Captain Robert Storrar Boyd (1888 – 1977).
