English: Marion Josiah was a full-rigged four-masted steel-hulled ship[1] or barque,[2] built in 1892 by Charles Connell & Co Glasgow (yard No 191), for Rogers & Co, Glasgow. The company was called the Marion Line after Marion Roger, wife of the owner Josiah Roger.[3]
In 1910 the ship was renamed Tijuca, the favourite name of her then owners Messrs AD Borde, the principal French sailing ship company. A German U-boat sank her in 1917.
