| Description |
English: Tidal road between Overton and Sunderland. Taken at 13:52 and the tide is starting to recede. Note the high water mark indicated by the wet surface on the road. This road is the only link to Sunderland apart from farm tracks and footpaths and is clearly marked by road edge markers along its length as it crosses Lades Marsh. Sunderland is in the far distance.
The public footpath to Bazil point is on the left, the footpath sign has its foot in the water and the path is passable at high tide with care. Compare this image to 1210376 |
