Description
English: The trackbed of the former Border Counties Railway This branch line that ran from Riccarton Junction to Hexham was opened in 1862 on the same day as the Edinburgh to Carlisle Waverley route, and was closed to passenger traffic in 1956 and to freight in 1958.
