Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The summit of Eildon Mid Hill. The summit of the highest of The Eildon Hills (422m) is marked by a trig point and a toposcope, the Geographica Indicator of the Eildon Hills. The hill in the distance between the indicator and trig point is Eildon Hill North, just visible above a temperature inversion of low clouds and mist. The indicator was erected in 1927 at a cost of £140, raised by public subscription. For more details of the indicator see 565633.
