This map was compiled bythe .-Xmold Electric Power Station Co., of Chicago, 111. It showsthe intcnirban lines in operation, under construction and proposed,and the city systems arc also indicated. .\UlKiiigh hut 89 milesof intcrurban lines have been constructed and arc now operatedin Iowa, outside of the system at Council Bluffs, it is stated tliatfully l.ooo miles have been projected, much of which will be builtthis year. The principal interurban lines now in operation and the valueof each are given as follows: Cedar Rapids & Marion City Ry..IJ.6 miles long, valued at $47,000; Des Moines-Colfax InterurbanRy.. 2341 niiles long, valued at $58,500; Mason City & Clear LakeRy.. 14.62 miles long, valued at $13,200: Tama & Toledo ElectricRy., 2,75 miles long, valued at $5,000; Waterloo-Cedar Falls RapidTransit Ry..
