| Description |
English: The former Protestant school at Legfordrum. Now a house this was once the school that served the protestant children of the townland. In the early 20th century each child would bring carry 2 pieces of turf (locally called peats) for the fire. I personally know one former pupil who sailed through Trinity in Dublin with her Ligfordrum schooling. |
