English: The Pied Bull in Northgate Street. The Pied Bull on the corner of Northgate Street and King Street is an old coaching inn. The fascade is 18th century, but there has been a building here for much longer than that, and the staircase is 16th century. On the right hand support there is a facsimile of an old coaching sign - see 837110. |
