English: Members of Nevada Desert Experience and the Sunset Activist Collective attend a townhall meeting held by John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Kelly Ayotte held at the College of Southern Nevada in North Las Vegas, NV. McCain, Graham, and Ayotte use fearmongering and old, outdated and disproven Republican talking points to advocate against military budget cuts proposed as part of "sequestration," which was created after Congress was unable to pass budget cuts in 2011.
After an initial confrontation with campus police, members of NDE and Sunset protest out front and then enter the townhall, where several members of the group question the panel about the necessity of spending over $2 billion a day on unnecessary wars while cutting services and laying off workers, such as teachers.
