Description
English: Possibly Captain Allan Scott. The Indian Ton-Ton, about 1862, Albumen silver print, 7.4 × 14.2 cm (2 15/16 × 5 9/16 in.), 84.XB.732.4.1.31. The J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles. Stereographic views of four men preparing to lift a palanquin. A man and young boy are sitting in the palanquin. The group is gathered beside a lattice fence with a thatched roof.
