Volume 1 with illustrated, hand-colored, half-title page
Descriptions, native place of growth, and period of flowering of each plant, in Latin and English.
Illustrations with dissections of the several parts of the specimen. Each plate accompanied by a leaf of letterpress text and blank leaf. Plates are hand-colored engravings, or etchings.
Alphabet index numbering the plates are at the end of each volume.
