Description
English: The "Needles" at the North Pier. See 217868. The “Needles” was one of two hopper barges engaged in carrying stone from Belfast to the site of the waste-water pipeline near Groomsport. They used Bangor harbour (but not for loading) when space was not available in Belfast.
