Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Calcium signalling in Pax6+/+ corneal epithelium wounded in calcium-free medium Fluo-3 imaging of intracellular calcium after wounding in calcium-free HBSS. Total length of video represents 2 minutes, red represents the highest calcium concentration, blue/violet the lowest. There is no strong calcium response immediately adjacent to the wound edge, but a weak calcium wave is visible that propagates from the wound edge into the tissue.
