Description
English: Supplementary Movie 4 KlpA moves processively toward the plus end on single microtubules. Movie showing that individual KlpA molecules (green) move processively toward the plus ends on surface-immobilized microtubules (red). Microtubules are fluorescently labeled with Hilyte 647 and polarity-marked with a bright plus end. Top: the microtubule channel; Middle: the GFP-KlpA channel; Bottom: the overlay of the microtubule and GFP-KlpA channel. The movie corresponds to Fig. 2c. Arrowhead indicates the plus end of the polarity microtubule used for generating the leftmost kymograph in Fig. 2c.
