Description
English: Multiple FtsZ-GFP rings in a ΔminJ backound. Shown is a 3D reconstruction of multiple Z-rings in a strain expressing FtsZ-GFP lacking MinJ (strain 3869). Note that only one FtsZ ring constricts (the one which has no obvious central hole), while the other rings remain open.
