Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Wound-healing in evolved digital organisms. Movie shows organism #18 as it develops from a single cell and stabilizes their forms at ∼ time-step 50. The organism was subjected to a ‘gun shot’ wound that removes a core of cells of pixels or a 5 voxel width plane of cells in the Y axis. Actions have been colour-coded so that a yellow cell is about to be cloned, a deep blue cell to move, and a red cell to die.
