| Description | A temporary single-lane detour bridge was used here for 6 weeks and was controlled by flaggers; traffic control signs were erected and flagger stations were lighted to provide safe nighttime operations as part of an FHWA, Highways for LIFE project with ODOT using alternate project delivery and innovative ABC to rapidly remove and replace five bridges. Travelers and neighboring residents and businesses were informed of the upcoming detour by signs and through the public outreach program. |
