Het schip passeert oa de Hembrug, die gedeeltelijk gedemonteerd is om het schip door te laten, de Velsertunnel en het logiesschip van de Hoogovens te IJmuiden. Vervolgens wordt het 47m brede schip de 49m brede sluis van IJmuiden in gesleept. Met archiefmateriaal van de tewaterlating van het achter- en voorschip en de afbouw van het schip.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; The supertanker 'Melania' from Shell is tugged to sea by tugs from the shipyard of the NDSM via the North Sea Canal.
