Description
Canadian English: Tai Llyn (formerly known as Rhes Cwm Orthin) can be seen on the way up from Dolrhedyn, Tanygrisiau near Blaenau Ffestiniog in the country of Wales. They are within Park Cenedlaethol Eryri (National Park).

The lake and quarry are called Llyn Cwmorthin and Chwarel Cwmorthin.

The first eight houses were built in the 1860’s and a further five built in the 1870’s bringing the total up to thirteen by the census of 1881. 32 people lived here according to the 1871.
