| Description |
English: Tag Lock Spillway. The spillway, which was built to carry overflow from the canal into the River Calder, now only carries ground waterway. The flow along the disused Tag Cut is taken through the brick headwall to the lock exit. The masonry invert of the spillway is in remarkably good condition for a structure 250 years old. |
