Additional Notes | As Israeli and diaspora Jews celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the state of Israel, an increasing number of people around the world have started to ask questions about the circumstances of its creation and the myths they have been fed during all those years. More and more people are beginning to acknowledge the fact that Israel was not created of Immaculate Conception, and that the Zionist leaders of Israel had intentionally destroyed the fabric of Palestinian civil society to found their state by mass terror campaigns, massacres of thousands, depopulation of 500 Palestinian villages, and expulsion of about 690,000 out of 850,000 Palestinians, or more than 80 percent of the Palestinian population then living in the area now called Israel. |
