Additional Notes | We are very privileged today to welcome Dr. Naseer Aruri, Chancellor Professor Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, founding member of the Arab Organization for Human Rights, Cairo and Geneva in 1982, former member of the Board of Directors of Human Rights Watch/Middle East Section, and three-term member of the Board of Directors of Amnesty International USA over the years 1984 to 1990. His publications include: "Occupation: Israel Over Palestine" (1983) and "Palestinian Refugees: the Right of Return," published by the Pluto Press in 2001. |
