Built to Catholic tenement building. Planned by architect Ervin Quittner (from Budapest) in 1929. Construceted by Pittel and Brausewetter company (from Budapest). On its facade: János Gyöngyösi memorial plaque (black marble?, 1990) inscription: 'Dr. János Gyöngyösi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, lived in this house between 1930 and 1948. Békéscsaba Branch of the Independent Smallholders Party, 1990, Békéscsaba City Council' AND The plaque commemorating the child victims of the Holocaust (greyish granite? with white inscription, 2019) inscription: 'Gábor Mihály Neumann (February 10, 1940 – June 29, 1944) lived in this house with his family, who is the symbol of the child martyrs of the Holocaust, one of the most recognizable faces in the world.//Gábor, Marianne (between Békéscsaba and Auschwitz, June 26-29, 1944), their mother, grandmother and all child victims were commemorated by their brother Péter Naményi, the Békéscsaba County Commander With the Municipality of the City and the Jewish Community of Békéscsaba in 2019, on the 75th anniversary of the deportations in Békéscsaba.' - 9 Szent István Square, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.
