English: Sutherland High School. Sutherland (later Heywood Community) High School, on Sutherland Road; taken in 1977 from the top of one of the Darnhill high rise flats. The school was built between 1964 and 1966, with the official opening in 1966. The school's name was changed name to Heywood Community School in the early 1990s. It was closed in 2010, and demolished during the winter of 2010-11. |
