English: Sunflowers on the Downs. A surprising sight beside Ringlestone Road. A small group of mature oak and ash trees near the hedge have been excluded from the cultivation of this field leaving a semicircle of 'weed' growth amongst which were quite a few sunflowers. I wonder if the farmer decided to broadcast some 'bird seed'... |
