Description |
English: Karin is alone at home in Sundborn and has sat down in the studio sofa. Only her hands are visible, and her portrait is painted on the sliding doors. The tablecloth and vase of peonies and honeysuckle are signs of her tender care. The painting can be seen as a portrait in the form of a riddle. Is the answer that Karin and the home are inseparably entwined in her husband’s eyes? In the case of the picture on the door, she is literally part of the fixtures. |
