Summary
[edit]DescriptionSummit Cairn, Bleaberry Haws - geograph.org.uk - 20412.jpg |
English: Summit Cairn, Bleaberry Haws. This large cairn on a bleak and rarely visited moor below Walna Scar must be the remains of an ancient structure. Bleaberry Haws is dotted with remains of a presumably pre-Roman settlement including a dyke, a field enclosure, a stone circle and a line of stones. It was a grey wet day so the image quality is not great. |
