English: Strontian Glen oakwood Remnants of the temperate rain forests which once extended along the Atlantic coasts of Europe are now being managed to ensure their survival. Grazing has been restricted, rhododendrons are being removed and the non-native plantations harvested in order to make way for native woodland. |
