Description
English: Straw baling at New Holland, North Lincolnshire, Great Britain. Equipment is a vintage Case David Brown 1410 tractor and attached Jones baler. Baler not apparently very reliable as the driver was dismounting at intervals (as shown) to fix the feed mechanism, however this machine is probably 50 years old which is a pretty good working life! "Jones Balers Ltd were a Welsh firm of implement manufacturers that's main line was Balers. They were based in Esmor Works, Mold, Clwyd, Wales. The company was taken over by Allis-Chalmers in 1961."[1] For another photo showing this firms equipment see SC2668: Jones Baling Machine.
