| Description |
English: Stile on the Tyrrau Mawr. This stile is near the summit of the Tyrrau Mawr on the ridge path along the westerly ridge of the Cadair Idris massif. What isn't obvious from the photograph is the abyss just a few metres to the left (464785)... The ridge, a cliff whose northern slope is nearly vertical here, runs E to SW through the square. The N and W side are accordingly steep and rocky slopes. The valley bottom, 500m below is reached just in the NW corner. The SE segment is manageably steep rough grassland. |
