English: Live cell microscopy of macrophage interactions with PA14 Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Adherent macrophages (viewed in DIC) were treated with liquid culture of GFP-expressing PA14 WT under constant flow. Images are recorded every 5 seconds over a 30 minute time period and compressed for playback. Bacterial concentrations were equalized prior to imaging for comparative visualization of bacterial accumulation and retention on phagocytes. |
