Stamp of Togo; 1982; commemorative stamp of the issue "Christmas 1982"; The stamp motive shows a detail of the painting by Raphaello Sanzio "Madonna del Baldachino".; This painting was created in 1507-1508 in the style of the Italian Renissance ("Raphael's Conservation style"), however remained uncomplated and is contemporary located in the "Palazzo Pitti" and here in the "Galleria Palatina" in Florence and belongs to the Vatican.; It was the first greater order for Raphael after hin return to Rome.; This painting was taken in 1799 to Paris, but it was returned to Florence in 1813.; stamp postmarked by CTO date QS:P,+1982-12-20T00:00:00Z/7,P580,+1982-12-20T00:00:00Z/11 ,other source: |
