The art of the High Renaissance in Europe decribes the heyday of artistic production of the renaissance time as the ultimative downfall of the mediaval society and involves the artworks of the time after the fall of Constantinopel in 1453 to the 1520s. Sometime is stated that this time ended with the death of Raffaello Sanzio in 1520, other sources states an end with the Sack and Occupation of Rome by Habsburgian military units in 1527. However that be, characteristical for this period was the aspiration under the masters of new works after a high degree of artistic perfection and harmony and this in all areas of the intellectual and artistic creativity. Initial point of that was Italy with Rome and Florence as starting centres.
