English: DIC imaging of cells studied by time-lapse confocal imaging after the induction of apoptosis by 500 ng/mL AMD. Same experiment and same field of view as shown on S1 Movie. During GFP and TMRE fluorescence imaging, Z-stacks of DIC images were acquired. We choosed one characteristic optical section from each z-stack and we used it to build a movie showing the structural modifications of the cells during the steps of apoptosis. |
