| Description |
English: Stack Hills Bridge, Rochdale Canal, Todmorden, Yorkshire Walking along eastwards from the centre of Todmorden, this is the first bridge to be encountered, and it is seen here looking back westwards. The walk would be very pleasant were it not for the large amount of dog faeces fouling the towpath, of which the more responsible townspeople of Todmorden must feel thoroughly ashamed. The towpath is used by boaters, walkers, cyclists, anglers and children. They have a right to be free of this filth. |
