Description Market Place, Macclesfield. The Church was founded in 1278. The Tower was re-modelled and heightened in the 15th Century, and the rest of the church was re-modelled in 1739-1740 and agothic hcancel added in 1819-20, which was subsequently re-built in 1889 and the whole church restored by Sir Arthur Blomfield in 1899-1901.
