Library's first collection contains 236 sheets including the title page, trimmed and mounted on paper, bound in five vols. ; Library's second collection contains 105 matted engravings on sheets 76 x 66.5, in three boxes with binder's title only
A contents of the collections arranged by numbers assigned by Christian Hülsen is available for consultation in notebook form in the Department of Special Collections
Engraved historiated t.p. by Étienne Dupérac produced in 1573 to be used by collectors of prints from Lafréry's shop to introduce their selections. The t.p. was in use until ca. 1602 by Lafréry's successors
Engravings cover a wide variety of subjects related chiefly to the sights and attractions of Rome and prepared as mementos for visitors.
