Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Caroline Fourest's solidarity message to the Secular Conference 2017: International Conference on Freedom of Expression and Conscience in London, 22-24 July 2017. We continue to hear a lot of Bullshit, a lot of propaganda that the victims are to blame instead of the terrorists and killers." "When we speak about secularism, we have a constructive resistance to fanaticism. If there is no way to express this resistance, hate will win. Because this is what the fanatics want - to provoke hate and to obtain it. What we have in common is that we think there is a constructive way to resist. And it's even a universal way. Because nobody - whether we are born in Iran, in Pakistan, in London or Paris, nobody loves to live in societies where the brutal, the violent, the fanatics make the rule and this is why we can hope to be more and more."
