English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The new locks near Vreeswijk in the canal Vreeswijk-Jutphaas (side arm of the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal) are put into use. SHOTS: - the new locks; - map on which the course of the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal is shown; - the old situation at the Koninginnesluis (Queen's Lock), where the canal is filled with inland vessels; - the Dutch flag is hoisted in front of a large audience, after which the locks atre opened and the ships sail into it; - the new lock with ships.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
De ingebruikneming van de nieuwe schutsluizen bij Vreeswijk in de kanaaltak Vreeswijk-Jutphaas (zijtak Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal). SHOTS: - de nieuwe sluizen; - kaartje waarop de loop van het Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal wordt aangegeven; - de oude situatie bij de Koninginnensluis, waar het kanaal vol binnenvaartschepen ligt; - onder grote publieke belangstelling wordt de Nederlandse vlag gehesen, waarna de sluizen worden geopend en de schepen naar binnen varen; - de nieuwe sluis met schepen. |
