Slovenščina: Belokranjska pramenka se je razvila ob reki Kolpi med Vinico, Adlešiči in Črnomljem ter dobila ime po pokrajini v jugovzhodnem delu Slovenije. Pasma je poznana po tankih kosteh, dobri klavnosti in dobri kakovosti mesa. Belokranjska pramenka je med najmanj številnimi slovenskimi avtohtonimi pasmami domačih živali.
V izvorno rodovniško knjigo je vpisanih okoli 1050 živali in ima kritično stopnjo ogroženosti. Namenjena je za prirejo jagnjet, njeno meso pa je mehko, okusno in sočno ter se največkrat uporablja za peko na ražnju. Poleg tega je pasma namenjena za prirejo volne, ki jo uporabljajo za izdelavo različnih tradicionalnih volnenih in polstenih izdelkov. |
