English: Site of Tweedmouth station and goods yard Only a few sidings for engineer's use remain at what was once a substantial railway goods yard. Tweedmouth once boasted an ornate and large station despite its proximity to the larger town of Berwick only one mile away across the Tweed. Following the opening of the Royal Border Bridge in 1850 the station's short importance as a terminus was lost. |
