Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Signs and stile near Eastern Lodge The lettering on this side of the signpost has worn away too much to deduce the name of the junction, but a later visit identifies it as "Tea House Cross". The tea house would have been a feature on Lord Revelstoke's carriage drive. The footpath sign points towards the coast path, but also indicates a path that runs parallel to the lane as far as Eastern Lodge. Beneath its arms, the view along the coast is of The Beacon, Bigbury-on-sea and Burgh Island.
