English: My first (2008) attempt at making a documentary. The setting is off of the coast of San Leon, Texas (Galveston Bay), my hometown. I captured the footage about four months prior to Hurricane Ike. Although the central character, Chinh, is of a good friend of my father, I made this video in celebration of my later father--whose life and my mine depended upon the fortunes of the sea.
