English: The Khorassan earthquake of 1968. A team of UNESCO experts was sent to the spot to study the damage in connexion with the design of earthquake-resistant buildings. Here, Dr. Stewart Crampin of the Institute of Geological Sciences, Edinburgh, who led the UNESCO team of seismologists in order to record and analyse the after-shocks of the earthquake.
Français : Séisme du Khorassan de 1968. Des experts de l'UNESCO ont été envoyée sur place pour examiner les dégâts et étudier en conséquence la possibilité de construire des bâtiments qui puissent résister aux tremblements de terre. M. Stewart Crampin de l'Institut des Sciences géologiques d'Edimbourg qui a dirigé l'équipe de sismologues envoyée au Khorassan par l'UNESCO enregistrer et analyser les secousses qui se produisent encore en profondeur longtemps après.
