English: LIBI_00011_07114; Tintype (photograph), with envelope, of 2nd Lts. Edward S. Godfrey, Francis M. Gibson, and Edward Law; created in 1867 at Leavenworth, Kansas has gold frame with relief design; reverse has pencil script identifying officers, both Godfrey and Gibson served at Little Bighorn. [Note: Law resigned his commission on August 1872, to take up law. Law drowned in Schuykill River on October 5, 1881, in a boating accident.
