English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The 'Tilly Lykes', which recently moored in Rotterdam, is a modern freighter that transports hundreds of containers. It is also a mother ship for a maximum of 38 barges which are transported fully loaded. From the harbour they are then transported to other destinations via the river. SHOTS: 'Tilly Lykes' arrives in Rotterdam; pan shot over the terminals in the Rotterdam harbour; container is unloaded with a special lever; unloading of barges in the water; unloading of general cargo.

De 'Tilly Lykes', die onlangs Rotterdam aandeed, is een modern vrachtschip dat honderden containers vervoert maar tevens een moederschip is voor maximaal 38 bakken die volgeladen worden meegenomen en vanuit de haven verder vervoerd worden over de rivier. SHOTS: 'Tilly Lykes' arriveert in Rotterdam; pan over terminals in Rotterdamse haven; container wordt gelost met speciale hefbrug; uitladen bakken in het water; uitladen stukgoed. |
