Description
Deutsch: Die sogenannte Schottenkirche St. Jakob ist die ehemalige Benediktinerklosterkirche der iro-schottischen Mönche, die sich ab 1040 in Regensburg ansiedelten. Die erste Klosterkirche wurde Ende des 11., Anfang des 12. Jahrhunderts errichtet. Der erhaltene Kirchenbau geht auf die 2. Hälfte des 12. Jahrhunderts zurück.
