Description GULF OF MEXICO (Oct. 10, 2016) A GOES-16 East Geocolor satellite image of Hurricane Michael shows the storm at approximately 7:27 a.m. EDT in the Gulf of Mexico as it approaches the Florida Panhandle. Hurricane Michael's center has a maximum sustained wind of 145 mph and a minimum central pressure of 933 milibars. The center of the storm is about 90 miles southwest of Panama City moving north at 13 mph. (U.S. Navy photo/Released)181010-N-N0101-101
